The Objective
Objective
Dealifly was engaged to replace the client's manual candidate handling with a faster, more consistent screening process. The engagement focused on:
-
Filtering incoming applications automatically against the client's requirements
-
Contacting qualified candidates immediately, without recruiter effort
-
Gathering screening information through WhatsApp, the channel candidates already use
-
Booking first interview calls directly into recruiters' calendars
-
Freeing recruiters to spend their time on conversations with suitable candidates
The Challenge
The Challenge
The client received a steady flow of applications through Indeed, but every step after that was manual. Recruiters reviewed each application by hand, then contacted candidates one by one on WhatsApp to ask screening questions and arrange a call. The client faced several obstacles:
-
Large volumes of applications to read and sort manually
-
Slow response times, which risked losing candidates to other agencies
-
Repetitive screening questions asked again and again by recruiters
-
Inconsistent filtering, depending on who reviewed the application
-
Interview scheduling done through long back-and-forth messages
-
Recruiter time spent on unsuitable candidates instead of strong ones
In healthcare recruitment, good candidates are in demand and often apply to several employers at once. The agency that responds first usually gets the first conversation.
Why Hiring Was Slowing Down
The client was not short of applicants. The delay came from what happened after an application arrived. Each candidate had to be reviewed, messaged, questioned, and scheduled by hand, so response times depended on how busy the recruiters were. Qualified candidates waited, some lost interest or accepted other offers, and recruiters spent much of their day on administrative follow-up rather than on interviews and placements.
The Approach
Approach
Dealifly's approach rested on one principle: speed and consistency decide who wins healthcare candidates. Every applicant should get a fast response and the same fair screening, and recruiters should only step in when a candidate is ready to talk.
The engagement was organized around three areas of work:
-
1. Automated application filtering
-
2. WhatsApp screening conversations
-
3. Interview booking and recruiter handoff
Each area was designed to remove manual steps while keeping the candidate experience personal and professional.
